Top 10 Tropical Destination Wedding Locations for 2013

Tropical destination weddings have never been hotter. But if you’re considering tying the knot in paradise, then do as Wedding Planner Institute of Canada’s president Danielle Andrews Sunkel recommends. “It’s imperative to visit the location first to see if the overall vibe fits in with your vision,” says Sunkel. “Besides, ‘research’ is as good a reason as any for taking a holiday in the sun!”

According a recent article published in the Reader’s Digest the top 10 destination weddings as follows:

1. Aruba

Beyond its stellar beaches and top notch tourist services, one of the main reasons this Dutch Caribbean island is so popular is its predictable weather. Aruba is arid and outside of the hurricane belt, so sunshine reigns all year-round.

Destinations to consider are Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts for intimate adult-only affairs, or the Divi group all-inclusives for families and the budget conscious. 2. St.Maarten/St.Martin

5. Jamaica
